Vishwakarma Puja is celebrated every year on 17th September — the day of Kanya Sankranti when the Sun transits into the Virgo zodiac. Vishwakarma Jayanti (Birthday) falls on Bhadra Purnima, typically in August/September.
The five clans (Panch Jati) are: Lohars (ironsmiths, descendants of Manu), Sutrdhars (carpenters, descendants of Maya), Tameras (coppersmiths, descendants of Twashta), Shilpis (sculptors, descendants of Shilpi), and Daivagyas (goldsmiths, descendants of Visvajna).
Use the contact form above or email us at [email protected]. We welcome all members of the Vishwakarma community and friends who wish to learn about our traditions and participate in our celebrations.
While Lord Vishwakarma is the patron deity of craftsmen, engineers, and artisans, his worship has spread to all who work with their hands or minds in creative and productive work. Factory workers, architects, mechanics, and engineers of all communities observe Vishwakarma Puja across India.
Lord Vishwakarma is mentioned in the Rigveda (Mandala 10, Hymns 81–82), the Vishnu Purana, the Ramayana (as builder of Lanka and Pushpaka Vimana), and the Mahabharata (as builder of Dwarka and Indraprastha).
Jai Vishwakarma — may the blessings of the divine architect guide your hands, inspire your mind, and fill your work with the grace of the eternal maker.
